Nur Aishah Abdullah Farid Kenton is a Singapore-born, Malay-Australian photographer, artist, and educator. Aishah’s work explores personally resonant themes through photography, archives, and installation. Her practice combines conceptual and documentary approaches, often using collaborative methods to connect personal histories with broader cultural narratives. Aishah’s work has been recognised in the British Journal of Photography’s Ones to Watch (2022) the National Portrait Prize (2024 and 2025), Australian Life (2024) and the Willaim and Winidred Bowness Photography Prize (2025), Aishah’s work is held in the collections of the National Library of Australia, Home of The Art (Gold Coast) and the State Library of Queensland. www.aishahkenton.com
For more than 25 years, Sean Davey has developed a wide-ranging photographic practice. His approach to photography was shaped in Sydney during the 2000s and developed substantially through his work in Papua New Guinea, where he began photographing by invitation in 2005. Since 2018, Sean has photographed extensively in Malaysia while continuing to develop several bodies of work in Australia. His work is held in numerous national collections, and he is regularly commissioned for documentary and heritage architecture projects. His practice takes various forms, including exhibitions, publications, community programs, journalism and teaching.
