Kenton/Davey presents a new, limited edition series of 31 photographs by Sean Davey. The photographs were made in Venice and Gonzaga, Italy in 2026.

Inspired whilst on a journey to see an exhibition by Italian photographer Guido Guidi in the regional town of Gonzaga in northern Italy, this series of photographs celebrates the very nature of photographic practice, observation and chance.

Upon returning home and developing my negatives, I found that this roll had been affected by light leak, the only roll from 30 that I shot during the last month - and quite remarkably, the only roll I shot in Venice. Initially, I was disappointed when I saw the film had been affected by light, however upon seeing the scanned images I realised, yet again, that photography is indeed an art of chance.
