Today/Tomorrow

The energy, curiosity and dreams that shape the lives of young adults.

Today/Tomorrow is a multimedia photography project made in collaboration with 16 young adults between the ages of 18 and 30, each of whom volunteered to be interviewed and photographed with expired Polaroid film. The interviews and portraits voice and preserve their stories of diversity and resilience.

Today/Tomorrow marks the intersection of past, present and future, exploring the authenticity that defines this pivotal stage in life. This exhibition is a celebration of the energy, curiosity and dreams that shape the lives of these young adults, and invites viewers to connect with their shared experiences.

The black & white photographs on each page were made by the participants.

Today/Tomorrow was commissioned by PHOTO Australia and Parliament of Victoria, and supported by the City of Melbourne.
